Type Moon, My servant is Tom Chapter 165

Chapter 165 - The Forgotten Red Archer

After applauding Tom's performance, Spike proudly touched Bai Song with his paw and then gestured towards Tom, indicating that Bai Song's act was over.

"So, you mean... Gudako tore off her own scalp?" After recalling Tom's actions, Bai Song quickly understood Spike's meaning.

Spike nodded in confirmation.

"Wow... That's brutal!" Bai Song gasped in disbelief, and the temperature around him seemed to rise a bit due to his reaction. He hadn't expected that Gudako would be even more ruthless to herself than to her own Servants. The way Tom demonstrated earlier made it clear that Gudako had physically ripped off her own scalp, even without using a knife!

The thought of such a horrifying image sent shivers down Bai Song's spine, causing him to get goosebumps all over his body.

Realizing that he was dealing with someone so merciless, Bai Song shook his head, abandoning the idea of seeking revenge. "Forget it, forget it. I can't mess with such a terrifying person."

With that, Bai Song lifted the snake-skin bag containing 24 Noble Phantasms onto his shoulder and turned to leave.

Although Gudako's group had taken one of his batteries, Bai Song managed to obtain a total of 24 Noble Phantasms from Red Archer's backside. Besides, Tom and Spike had given Gudako's team a thorough beating. When he considered all of this, Bai Song felt like he hadn't lost out at all and even made a slight profit—both in terms of reputation and rewards.

Feeling quite satisfied with his gains, Bai Song was about to leave when he suddenly remembered something.

Looking back at Tom, who was sadly rubbing his bald head, Bai Song pointed to the large shield on the ground and said, "Tom, could you please pack that thing up and take it with us?"

Regardless of whether it was useful or not, it wouldn't hurt to take it along. Even if it turned out to be useless, he could still keep it as a memento at home.

Upon hearing Bai Song's request, Tom didn't hesitate. He reached behind his back and took out a snake-skin bag big enough to fit Spike inside. Although compared to the giant shield on the ground, the bag seemed a bit small, it didn't hinder Tom's actions. He simply lifted the shield and effortlessly stuffed it into the bag.

And then, the most miraculous thing happened. Despite being stuffed with a large shield, the snake-skin bag showed no signs of deformation from the outside. Normally, one would expect the bag to take on the shape of the shield after being forced inside. However, it appeared as if the bag had merely been slightly stretched, like the shield was just an ordinary blanket.

Bai Song couldn't understand it, but he was greatly amazed. He knew he would never be able to comprehend the mysterious principle behind the bag's behavior.

After casually stuffing Gudako's hair and torn skirt into the bag, Bai Song shouldered his snake-skin bag with the 24 Noble Phantasms and led the way out of the park, heading towards where his electric bike was parked. All he hoped for now was to have enough money on him to buy a used battery.

Meanwhile, both Bai Song's group and Gudako's group had set sail in different directions. But there was one Servant who seemed to have been completely forgotten by both sides—Red Archer, the culinary expert of Chaldea.

Red Archer was still trapped on the wall, unable to move at all. He had made numerous attempts to free himself, but all in vain.

"Why... Why is it like this?" He tried with all his might once again, but realized he hadn't budged an inch. Despair engulfed him. "How can I get out of here?"

During his battle with Tom, it seemed like he was on the verge of defeating the strange cat. After all, Tom had already submitted to him. All Red Archer needed to do was swing his sword lightly, and victory would be his, claiming his first kill on a mission.

However, after saying the words, "There's nothing left to fear," Spike attacked him unexpectedly, swallowing his head whole. It seemed that Spike could bite off his head with just one bite.

At that moment, Red Archer believed he was done for. But instead of a lethal bite, Spike spat him out like a mouthful of water. Flying through the air, he crashed into a wall in a nearby alleyway, where he got wedged, with his upper body stuck inside a restroom.

His hands were also jammed with his waist, making it impossible for him to exert any force to free himself.

Indeed, Red Archer wasn't joking. As a Servant, he should have been able to enter the spirit form, but strangely, he now felt just like a regular human with no access to his spiritual state. Not only was he unable to enter the spirit form, but it seemed that all his powers had disappeared.

Trapped in the wretched wall, he thought he could at least use his strength, even if it was only at a D rank, to break free effortlessly. Using his bare hands to push against the wall and escape would have been a piece of cake, requiring minimal effort.

However, after being wedged in this cursed wall, not only could he not enter the spirit form, but even all his strength seemed to have vanished!

As if that wasn't enough, he firmly believed that his master would come back to rescue him. Yet, instead of help, he was subjected to a flurry of intense pain, over twenty strikes in rapid succession, leaving him in tears and agony. It was like being stabbed repeatedly, and it brought him to the brink of despair.

To add insult to injury, he woke up to find himself neglected by both his enemies and his master, Gudako. It seemed like no one cared about him.

The restroom in front of him had been left in a deplorable state, with no one bothering to flush the toilet. His wounded buttocks continued to throb painfully, adding to his misery.

After enduring such torment, Red Archer finally lost consciousness. When he woke up again, he had no idea how much time had passed. Neither his enemies nor his master, Gudako, had come to find him. His buttocks still ached terribly, and he was surrounded by the filthy restroom, which only served to worsen his despair.

Under this dual torment, Red Archer couldn't help but cry out in frustration, "Won't anyone come and save me?!"
